Office Administrator

James P. Campbell & Sons Ltd are a family-owned company, established in 1920 who manufacture animal feed, based in Kilmarnock. We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our team to assist with administrator duties who will liaise with our production and sales team along with company directors. Book keep and experience in account payable/receivable will be beneficial. This role will be customer facing both in person and via telephone so a sociable candidate with good communication skills is preferable. We are looking for a self motivated and trustworthy person to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Managing daily administrative operations
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Purchase ledger and sales ledger processing
  • Produce consolidated monthly invoicing
  • Process monthly direct debits collections
  • Daily customer order processing
  • Engaging with customers & suppliers
  • Operating weighbridge & handling delivery paperwork
  • Handling Grain Passports
  • Writing and distributing email correspondence
  • Maintaining office policies and procedures
  • Maintain filing and scanning systems
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for all staff

 

The right candidate must have:-

  • The ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative with a can-do attitude.
  • Have great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Administrator or book keeping experience with the ability to learn
  • Computer literate, especially MS Office.

 

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £20,000.00 per year
